IT Systems Engineer position with focus on cyberspace-IT project management and coordination.
Duties:
Oversee applied research and experimentation projects.Charged with engineering projects that develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to aid DOD cyberspace operations.Coordinate with parties to ensure the mission effect is achieved and utilize technical expertise throughout to ensure a sound and secure delivery.Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives.Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems.Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.Work complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team.Design and deliver solutions.Location:

Qualifications:
Possess an Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence PolygraphMinimum 10 years of experience as a System EngineerBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related disciplineMinimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP (or Associate), CSSLP)Exposure to Cloud/AWSA problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solutionKnowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)Able to build systems from the ground up - network architecture/systems engineering
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $160,000. Final salary is commensurate upon education and applicable years of experience.
