This position will be part of the Advertiser Growth organization within Sponsored Products. Our team focuses on launching innovative controls that help advertisers provide us with inputs, developing state-of-the art machine learned optimization to represent our advertisers in the ad marketplace, and creating recommenders to help advertisers get started with Sponsored Products. Our systems and algorithms operate on one of the world's largest product catalogs, matching shoppers with advertised products and running the ad auction with a high relevance bar. We strive to improve the ability for advertisers to help shoppers discover relevant products on customer search, browse and detail pages. As a Sr. Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale, operationally robust software such as new targeting controls, ad sourcing techniques, automated optimization strategies, and advertiser-facing recommendations. You'll own significant products and features from design through launch, and will work with product managers, scientists, UX designers, and other engineers to make your efforts successful. About the teamScaled Controls enable Sponsored Products advertisers to manage their campaigns more effectively, while balancing the need for control with the benefits of scale. Our products include Rule Based Bidding, Scheduled Bid Rules, Event Bid Rules, Performance Based Budget Rules, Schedule Based Budget Rules, and Target Promotion Groups. We will expand the scope of Rules to give advertisers a way to express their strategies for managing ads, and we will support them with recommendation and optimization products.
