Insight Global is looking for an MES Specialist to work on Ignition/Inductive Automation platforms for an enterprise manufacturing company in Atlanta, GA. This individual will play a vital role in streamlining the end user experience of their manufacturing platform and applications that are used by operators on the shop floor to create a more user-friendly environment. To succeed in this role, you will need to understand how automation and control systems work within and manufacturing environment.
This candidate will be responsible for:Working within MES and SCADA platforms to optimize and streamline the end user experienceImplementing the Connected Worker Platform into the infrastructure at the remaining mills across the US30% of your time will be spent on the User Experience side, collaborating with UX/UI designers to optimize the end user experience30% of your time will be spent designing, testing, and troubleshooting application featuresCollaborating with UX/UI Designers - FigmaDocumenting requirementsPerforming application configuration30% of your time will be spent working with business leaders to understand requirementsImplementing customer adoption strategies for MES functionalityVery focused on customer - need some interactions with business leaders directly - some understanding of a BA practiceAfter hours support: Once every 5 weeks - rotating schedule, typically goes into the weekend. 10 weeks out of the year at most.Reduction and application rationalizationWill be responsible for working within manufacturing environment development platforms such as Connected Worker
Pay rate for this position is $50/hr.-$60/hr. determined by the hiring manager during the interview process. This is a HYBRID role that will require you to be in office 2-3 days a week in downtown Atlanta. 6-12 month contract to hire.
