DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Configuring and managing software and hardware for LANs and WANs, with a particular emphasis on Ruckus FastIron and Extreme Wireless network equipment.Supporting the agency's information security efforts by implementing best practices to safeguard data from intrusion, loss, and corruption.Directing the activities of a team of network administrators.Communicating IT needs to organizational leaders.Overseeing the agencys network infrastructure, diagnosing and troubleshooting any issues that arise, while also recommending preventive measures to enhance stability.Configuring and installation of switches for the internal network and ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the statewide network.Monitoring network activity to maintain peak performance, managing the installation and maintenance of circuits to remote county offices, and overseeing the agencys virtual servers.Managing Office 365 tenant including Entra and Intune.Ensuring critical files are backed up.On call to address any major networking issues as they occur
