Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,394 per week

Certification Details Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. Job Details Registered Nurse position in the Intermediate Care unit. Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs. Shift Requirements: 12 hour night, 7p-730a. Start Date: 10/7/24. Unit Information: 36 beds, Med Surg Intermediate Care unit, Heavy Tele, Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke. Primary Patients/Insulin Drips Patient Ratio: 4:1. Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely- fast-paced unit. Job Requirements Minimum Experience: 2 years experience required- firm on this. Stepdown/ Intermediate/PCU experience REQUIRED. ICU experience, preferred. Trauma Level II preferred. Ventilator/Trach experience required. At least 1 prior travel experience REQUIRED. Charting Experience: EPIC preferred. Schedule Information Shift Requirements: 12 hour night, 7p-730a. Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Unit Specific Information Unit Information: 36 beds, Med Surg Intermediate Care unit, Heavy Tele, Stable, weaning Vents/Trach, sepsis, trauma alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, Ortho Trauma, spinal cord injury and Stroke. Primary Patients/Insulin Drips Patient Ratio: 4:1. Additional Details Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau. Auto Offer Unit. THIS UNIT HAS THE CONTRACT END ON SUNDAY NOT SATURDAY. GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
