POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Systems Analyst conducts analysis, defines business processes; prepares and conducts training, and troubleshoots various business system environments. This role owns the customer service relationship with the assigned business areas. The BSA serves as a liaison between the business and the application vendors, translating business requirements into applications requirements and designs and managing the vendor delivery. The position is responsible to advise the evaluation, and implementation, of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as well as other critical applications. Customizes and configures workflows to enable the integration of optimized processes and application utilization. Must have a creative approach to problem solving and excellent influencing abilities. Must research in-depth IT solutions. Superb interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are also key.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSActs as liaison between internal business units and ITActs as a liaison between IT and application vendorsResearch, design, develop, and implement that enhance the company's manufacturing and support environmentsConfigures, installs, loads data and tests ERP, as well as other software packagesTechnical writing, including analysis and document preparationWorks with clients to define user requirements, specifications, and expectationsMaintains detailed understanding of business processes to deliver user's business requirements and provide day to day supportProvides business analysis on Document Management for all departmentsParticipates in Project Management as neededParticipates in cross functional teams to analyze business opportunities and contribute to systematic and process-oriented solutionsWork with vendors/developers to track and resolve applications bugs, patch releases, and upgradesProvide Tier II support to users utilizing the business systems, such as the ERPParticipate in afterhours support, as necessaryBuilds reports for Management, Power BI experience a plusPerforms tasks typically expected of an Applications Analyst role supporting an ERP environment to include but not limited to:

Lead business requirement and design sessionsBased on information gathered, create requirement documents and functional design specificationsProvide project input related to project, communication, testing, training, and cutover plansTrack and report on testing defects, project issues, action items, etc.Develop test scripts and complete system testingPrepare for and guide testing cycles including User Acceptance TestingProvide production support and develop support documentation

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years' experience in an applications development or business analyst roleAbility to work in US without Company sponsorship.EXPERIENCE
