Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities at Redstone Arsenal. Redstone Arsenal is located in Huntsville, Alabama, otherwise known as Rocket City. Huntsville is the hub of missile and space research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts military, government civilians, and contractors from Axient and other companies. Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development, and delivery of state-of-the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems. As a member of MDAs Test Design and Analysis division, the Intermediate Analyst will provide critical ground test analysis to ensure the success of the MDA ground test program.What you will do...:The candidate will utilize their knowledge and technical skills to support MDAs Test Directorate by providing ground testing pre-mission analysis and data validation of sensor and battlespace coverage, radar cross section, radar object and scatter count, post-intercept debris, and threat system performance verification and validation.The candidate will utilize engineering and analytical skills to develop ground test pre-mission data products for use by MDA internal organizations in support of MDAs ground test program, as well as develop algorithms and models to facilitate efficiencies in the production of the pre-mission data products.Furthermore, the candidate may be required to schedule, participate in, and present analysis at working group meetings, peer reviews and other technical meetings.

Skills you will need...:Required Skills and Experience:BA/BS in a related field; three years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirementMinimum 7 years relevant experienceActive DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtainExperience with MATLABCapable of providing expertise to relevant program analytical principles and practices for developmental and operational programsCapable of providing planning, monitoring, acquisition, and implementation support for complex systemsKnowledge, skills, and abilities in the analysis field; capable of utilizing, adapting and developing analytic techniques and processes for both technical and administrative support activitiesWorks as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems involving test planning, integration, execution, and analysisEstablishes priorities and manages planning and readiness activities of MDS test events IAW approved Test issuances (e.g., CONOPS)Participate in concept planning; design and development; integration, testing, and verification at the MDS system, element or component levelRoutinely resolves significant technical matters; capable of providing test engineering support on complex system-level developmental and operational test events in the flight, HWIL, and/or operational environmentsCritical thinking and problem solvingStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentSelf-starter with willingness to learnHighly Desired Skills and ExperienceExperience with DoD testing and test executionModeling and Simulation experienceExperience with Python, Java, C++ or other programming languages#CJ
