Hartwig Staffing is partnered with an Oklahoma City based company who is looking for a Data Governance Engineer. This role is paying up to $120K per year depending on experience.
Large-Scale Data Projects : Lead and contribute to large-scale data projects, ensuring successful implementation and delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.SQL Database Management : Pull data from SQL databases, write and optimize SQL scripts, and ensure data integrity and performance. Demonstrate a high level of comfort and proficiency in writing SQL scripts.IT Security Collaboration : Work closely with the IT security team to manage and secure sensitive data. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.Data Catalog Development : Build and maintain comprehensive data catalogs. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of data assets.Software Utilization : Utilize software tools such as Elation, Informatica, and IBM to develop and manage data catalogs. Leverage these tools to enhance data management processes.Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing and contributing to large-scale data projects.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience writing and optimizing SQL scripts.Experience working with IT security teams to manage sensitive data and ensure compliance.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain data catalogs.Familiarity with software tools such as Elation, Informatica, or IBM for data cataloging.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Skills:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certifications in data management, SQL, or related areas.Experience with additional data management and analytics tools.Knowledge of current data protection regulations and best practices.
