Job Description
Our client, a world leader in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a
Desktop Support Engineer
to be based in
San Diego, CA .
Job Duration:
Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Responsibilities: •Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for
network infrastructure, internal desktop systems, software and hardware . •Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues in a heterogenous environment. •Creates and implements maintenance procedures for shared workstation software and hardware (operating system, anti-virus, software update, etc) •Maintain passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the desktop environment. •Recommends
hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades . •May participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects.
Required Skills: •Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software. •Experience working in a
help desk or technical support role . •Ability to diagnose and resolve a wide variety of technical issues.
