Y Relocation? N Position Type Management JOB SUMMARY Marriott has an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master on the Software Engineering - Data Platforms team. This role is part of the team focused on building out our next generation cloud-based data and api platform. Appropriate candidates have a passion for data and emerging technologies with a take charge attitude and a strong drive for success. In this role you will deliver data projects and products on time, within budget, while meeting Marriott's expectations. You will Plan, assign, direct and coordinate activities pertaining to data technology projects, on an enterprise level or for a major systems implementation program with multiple releases and work streams. You will verify project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives. You will be responsible for managing the team that develops and carries out internal information technology projects and products. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required:. + Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification + 7+ years' experience in applying Agile and Scrum principles within teams and/or organizations and using agile metrics to analyze and improve sprint planning. + 7+ years planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams + 7+ years experience working within agile framework or method (i.e. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and applying techniques such as story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection etc. + 5+ years creating and delivering presentations, PowerPoint decks, and project plans. + 2+ years working with tools such as Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence), Clarity and/or Cloud-based platforms (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud) Preferred: + Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI's Agile Certified Professional (ACP) + SAFe certified - SAFe Agilist or SAFe Scrum Master + Servant leadership experience as Scrum Master on an Agile Release Train + Familiarity with product/project development experience on an Agile Teams in a technology-focused organization + Ability to align change management strategies with product development/deployments. + Demonstrated experience facilitatin To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
