Lead Business Analyst (Product Development)Full-Time | Direct Hire | Jacksonville, FL | 4 Days Onsite, 1 Day RemoteSTONE Resource Group is representing a leading company in the finance sector seeking a Lead Business Analyst (Product Development) to join their growing team. This is an exciting full-time, direct hire opportunity located in Jacksonville, FL, with a hybrid work schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business and systems analysis, data analysis, and working closely with both business and technology teams as part of the SDLC process.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed business and functional requirement specifications based on existing systems, previous drafts, and interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs)Perform data analysis and create Excel/VBA-based tools and prototypes to support various what-if scenarios, assisting in development, testing, and support processesUnderstand and identify dependencies across clearing systems, proactively assessing the impacts of changes to other systems within the ecosystemParticipate in technology architecture, design, and implementation sessions with the development team, resolving questions regarding business and functional requirementsBe hands-on with QA and UAT test plan reviews to ensure the final product meets critical business requirements, objectives, and ensures end-user satisfactionManage and respond to technical and functional product inquiries from internal and external stakeholdersMust-Have Skills:Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel-VBA, or MATLAB for data analysis5+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, including serving as a liaison between Business and Technology teams throughout the SDLC processExperience in financial markets, particularly with OTC credit derivatives and other derivatives such as Interest Rate, Structured Products, and OptionsStrong understanding of financial mathematics, including basic statistics, calculus, and stochastic models used in pricing financial derivativesProficiency in working within an integrated technology environment, using relational databases, APIs, and UIs to read and analyze dataExperience in documenting business and system requirements, including comprehensive use cases, and working in an iterative software development environmentNice-to-Have Skills:Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Mathematical Finance, or related field is preferredFamiliarity with pricing/risk management and portfolio margining models and systemsIf you are a strategic thinker with a passion for business analysis and technology integration, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic financial services environment.Apply today to join this innovative team!
