The Office of Information Services (OIS) is a shared service provider for the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Oregon Client (ODHS). OIS provides the technology systems and services that support more than 18,000 OHA and ODHS agency staff at local offices and facilities around the state. These systems and services help the two agencies determine client service program eligibility; provide medical, housing, food, and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational, and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors, and people with physical and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state public health. Please see the accurate information below: Max NTE: Daily Working Hours: Part - Time and TBD with hiring manager Contract Duration: 09/01/2023 to 05/30/2024 Background: The OIS Business Operations / Information Technology Asset Management team (ITAM) is implementing an IT Asset Management Tracking System. Procuring and implementing an ITAM Tracking System will satisfy the following: -Identify and resolve under-utilized IT assets; -Manage loss and theft of IT assets; -Mitigate legal liabilities relating to hardware and software management statutory requirements; -Reduce loss of productivity; -Reduce security risks. The scope of the overall project includes: -Implementation of the CA/Broadcom Asset Portfolio Manager (APM) hardware tracking tool to track all hardware and software purchases and related financial information. -Implementation of a Request Management process using the CA Service Catalog. WOC Scope: OIS seeks an experienced Data Administrator III with expertise in CA/Broadcom Asset Portfolio Manager (APM) data administration. As part of the rollout of the new ITAM system, a resource need was identified to assist the owner of the ITAM data repository. This role includes management and maintenance of database records and information such as: IT hardware, software licenses, financial data, ITAM related agreements and master data related to ODHS/OHA hardware and software assets. This role will be utilized to ensure data accuracy/cleanliness and integrity and support the ITAM Project effort by working side by side with OIS staff to complete data administration knowledge transfer. The selected key person needs not only strong CA/APM expertise but excellent communication / training / knowledge transfer skills. The workload is expected to be part-time in nature and may fluctuate depending on the current status of the project. Therefore the resulting Work Order Contract timeline will extend beyond six months, but at no point will the work hours exceed 1040 total. Tasks: Contractors Key Person shall: Maintain accountability for ITAM repository data quality and completeness. Help establish and maintain ITAM data governance and related documentation. Perform project related data onboarding activities. Maintain horizontal alignment by interfacing with others that contribute to or help to maintain ITAM data. Liaise with data stakeholders and other data stewards (or data source owners such as Microsoft Configuration Manager). Address data-related risks and resolve data-related issues such as record duplication, invalid data, inaccurate data, inconsistencies, missing or incomplete data and aged or outdated data. Support enforcement (of selected) data governance and controls. Perform ongoing verification and audit of repository data. Required skills and experience: Four years data quality management or similar data analysis experience In-depth knowledge and experience with data administration in a CA/Broadcom APM environment Working knowledge of CA Service Catalog Expertise in data quality management and governance concepts Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision Significant attention to detail Excellent at performing multiple tasks at the same time without error Strong communication and interpersonal skills Facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure Strong customer service skills Understanding of privacy concepts and considerations Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Outlook In addition, the ideal candidate will have skills and experience in: Broad knowledge of ITAM concepts and processes Familiar with IT software and hardware General ITAM tool knowledge and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Teams rate card description for a Data Administrator III: Responsible for the management and organization of data. May include database design, security, migration, and recovery. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least six years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Full-time professional Information Technology Project Development work experience and/or Function/Business Process Analysis work experience. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and up to 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Substitutions: Accredited college training may substitution for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of four (4) years. (Fifteen (15) semester hours in Information Technology or a related area is required.) Accredited graduate training in the above area may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. Successfully completion of an Information Technology Certification program, may substitute for the required work experience with a maximum substitution of two (2) years. Two (2) years of work experience as a Database Analyst-Senior ; Data Warehousing Administrator ; Data Architect ; Database Analyst-Intermediate ; Data Warehousing Analyst may substitute for all of the required experience. rate card rates for a Data Administrator III: Minimum per hour Maximum per hour Our primary criteria are the qualifications and experience of the proposed key person. Please propose your strongest candidate, at a rate less than or equal to the maximum. Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams. Interview times will be in Pacific Standard Time. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we anticipate two weeks or more for the background check completion for the selected candidate. Telecommuting will be contingent upon the key person providing his/her own adequate computer, monitor(s), Internet connection, and telephone, and be readily available during normal working hours via phone, email or MS Teams chat. Access to Agency systems will be provided via VPN or similar software. No hardware or additional software will be provided at the key person's home site or his/her PC.
