Job Overview:

LaPorte is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing + Content Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of digital marketing strategies. As a Marketing + Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, executing marketing campaigns, and analyzing their performance to drive engagement.

Location:

New Orleans, LA - with possibility for hybrid work after one yearHours:

40 hours/week, Generally M-F 8 am - 5 pm with some flexibility

Responsibilities:•Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote LaPorte's initiatives and drive engagement across all channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and email marketing campaigns.•Create high-quality and engaging content, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, infographics and other multimedia assets, as well as award nominations and press releases.•Assist in maintaining LaPorte's company website, including development of content and ensuring SEO best practices are followed.•Manage LaPorte's social media accounts, including content planning, scheduling, community engagement, and monitoring trends to optimize performance.•Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with LaPorte's messaging and goals.•Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and content using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics and social media insights, to identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies.•Manage import of client data into CRMS system (Hatchbuck)•Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media algorithms, and best practices to continuously refine LaPorte's marketing efforts and maximize reach and impact.•Assist in the development of marketing collateral, digital advertising, presentations, and promotional materials for events and outreach initiatives.•Provide support for Zoom client webinars as well as in person client events as needed.

Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.•1-3 years experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.•Proven experience in digital marketing, email marketing, content creation, and social media management.•Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and impactful content for various platforms and audiences.•Excellent attention to detail.•Working knowledge of WordPress sites•Proficiency in social media platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and knowledge of social media management tools.•Working knowledge of video editing tool(s) of choice to be able to create compelling reels and videos•Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual storytelling.•Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.•Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize marketing strategies.•Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.

Preferred Skills:•Experience with accounting or professional services is a plus but not required.•Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), and Canva•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
