Overview:
This is a Summer 2025 internship.Responsibilities:This intern will help the IT team with the following duties:Project planning.Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues along with documenting resolutions.Assign work orders, follow up on status, and communicate status to users.Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent Customer Service.Additional Responsibilites May Include:Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCPMaintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade servers including VMware Environment, and physical Windows and Linux serversManage Exchange and Office365 servers and mail flowBackup and DR planning and maintenanceCamera NVR setup and maintenanceServer software application installs and upgrades
Qualifications:RequiredPursuing a bachelor's degree in IT or related fieldExcellent problem-solving skills and work well in a team environmentPositive attitude and highly motivatedA team player with excellent communication skillsCustomer service orientedPreferredExperience with Cisco networking and phone system.Experience with Cisco Call ManagerAssociate degree in computer information systems, networking, or related field of studyKnowledge of various versions of Microsoft Windows Server OSNetworking experienceExperience with VMwareCompTIA Certifications: A+, Security+, Network+, Linux +, or Server+Cisco CertificationsKnowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange preferredExperience with Linux (CentOS, Red Hat, Oracle Linux)Steel Dynamics Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
