Design, develop, test, and deliver database systems. Manage life cycle support of database systems: apply patches and upgrades; diagnose and resolve problems; monitor and improve performance; migrate data from legacy systems to modern systems. Design and manage backup and recovery processes and continuity of operations plans. Select appropriate database technologies for specific requirements, such as online transaction processing systems (OLTP), decision support systems (DSS), data warehouses, object-oriented or other non-relational data stores, real-time systems, and mass storage systems. Acquire data, coordinate data flow, and promote data quality.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).

TS/SCI with agency appropriate polyBachelor's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 2-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the positionDegree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field. Technical/vocational or military training certificate in a computer-related field is an acceptable substitute for the Associate degree.Required Technical Skills
Experience with AWS OpenSearch, Elasticsearch and Kibana, & Mongo DBExperience with Linux system administrationExperience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentationDesired Technical Skills
