An employer in the Carlsbad, CA area is looking for an IT Support Technician II to join their team. This person will be joining a team of 5+ technicians and will be responsible for providing general IT, hardware, software, and installation support to 800+ end users both in-person and remotely. They will respond to customer inquiries via a ticketing system, approximately 15 -- 20 tickets per day. Support consists of but is not limited to, troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office 365 issues, imaging and configuring desktops for new hires, and installing hardware and equipment. About 70% of support will be done remotely and the remaining 30% will require physical attention. The employer is looking for a self-motivated team player with strong customer service skills to join their team.

* Capable of providing audio visual and conferencing equipment support and troubleshooting and ability to maintain currency in audio visual standards such as HDMI, DVI, etc.

* Degree or education within IT or a related field * 3+ years of experience in a customer facing desktop support position -- installation, configuration, and setup of desktop software and hardware.

* Tier 1 / Tier 2

* Experience supporting Windows and MacOS/IOS devices.

* Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office/Exchange Server.

* Well versed with Intune.

* Experience with ticketing systems, SolarWinds or similar

* Familiar with one or more of the following applications -- o365, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, Veeva, PAN Traps, PAN Global Protect, Zoom, Okta MFA
