Senior Endpoint Management Engineer (Intune, PowerShell)

Title: Senior Endpoint Management Security Engineer Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (hybrid) Duration: 6 month contract to begin Compensation: 60-70 hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Endpoint Security Engineer to join our dynamic Endpoint Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our Windows-based endpoints, identifying vulnerabilities, testing and implementing remediations. The candidate will also be responding to security incidents and will drive those incidents to full resolution. This role is critical in protecting our organizational data and systems from cybersecurity threats. Key Responsibilities: · Endpoint Security Management: Implement and manage security solutions for Windows-based endpoints. (MDM Microsoft Intune) · Security Monitoring: Monitor and analyze security alerts from endpoint protection systems and respond to potential threats in a timely manner. (Tanium and Defender) · Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents involving Windows endpoints, coordinating with other IT and security teams as necessary. (ServiceNow) · Patch Management: Ensure that all Windows endpoints are regularly updated with the latest security patches and firmware updates. (MDM Microsoft Intune update rings) · Application remediation: Able to package MSI/exe, intune win32apps, application deployment via intune, experience with intune remediations. · Security Policies: Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices for endpoint security. (MDM Microsoft Intune) · Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses of Windows endpoints to identify and mitigate potential security risks. · Training: Provide training and support to Level-2 Technicians on the proper use of security tools as well as any onsite smart hand assistance on physical endpoints. · Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, incident responses, and compliance activities. (SharePoint/ServiceNow) · Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and security teams to ensure a cohesive approach to organizational security. Skillset / Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology preferred · Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in endpoint security, specifically within a Windows environment. · Certifications: Relevant certifications M356 Endpoint Administrator, Tanium TCA or TCPEM · Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows operating systems, endpoint protection platforms (Defender), MDM (Microsoft Intune) · Knowledge: Intune, Service Now, Tanium, Defender, Azure, CyberArK EPM, and Windows endpoint security settings (compliance policies, CA policies etc) · Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. · Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. · Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. · Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. · Scripting: PowerShell is a MUST HAVE.
