IT Systems Engineer

This position requires an active

TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)

clearance.

The IT Systems Engineer (ISSE) supports the INSCOM G2 User Activity Monitoring (UAM) team by working with the INSCOM G6 and GISA teams to ensure that all end-points are being monitored across the enterprise.

Estimated Starting Salary Range for

IT Systems Engineer : $DOE Pay commensurate with experience.

IT Systems Engineer Responsibilities Include:Responsible for supporting the efforts to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of the organization's information systems and data.Responsible for implementing and maintaining robust security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending appropriate solutions to protect information assets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls, while staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies and industry best practices.Advises on technical problems related to supporting the UAM mission.Collaborates with GISA ISSEs to ensure that all end-points on the enterprise are able to be monitored by the UAM team.Work closely with UAM analysts, system administrators, network engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to fully implement UAM.Responsible for system integrations and supporting authorization efforts (i.e., writing and documenting how security implementations are met)Performs other job-related duties as assignedIT Systems Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Requires a minimum of a BA/BS in technology related field such as IT Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Network Engineering, or Cyber Security Engineering; five years' experience as an IT Systems, Cyber Security, or Networking Engineer.Five years' experience in Systems, Networking, or Cyber Security Engineering, is required; 10 years' experience is preferred.Top Secret Clearance with SCI is requiredMust have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational, writing, and verbal skillsMust be able to adapt to a changing environmentMust be able to collaborate across large and complex IT organizationsMust be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPointPrefer experience in MS Visio and ProjectMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany Information:
