agile Product Owner with expertise in e-commerce concepts, user management, partner billing, product catalog management, and managing distributed teams.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the business to develop a comprehensive backlog of e-commerce, user management, partner billing, and product catalog requirementsIdentify gaps and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and productsOwn backlog items from start to completion, managing risks and pushing issues to closureWork closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and business intelligence, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needsManage commerce activities across two distributed teams (FTE and SI), ensuring effective collaboration and communicationDevelop and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and iteration plans that align with business objectives and stakeholder needsCommunicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders, including executives, customers, and team membersFacilitate sprint planning, ensuring the agile squad is working on the correct priority items, and showcase demos to the business each iterationEnsure that the product is delivered on time, within budget, and meets the required quality standardsOversee the design and implementation of shopping cart functionality and order processingManage the ability to organize and maintain product listings and inventoryOversee billing processes and ensure smooth integration with partner servicesEnsure efficient management of the entire order lifecycleImplement features to manage customer interactions and supportTrack and analyze sales performance and customer behavior to inform decision-makingImplement and manage discounts, promotions, and loyalty programsModel best practices in product ownership and coach team members on PO methods to enhance team performance
Skills, Experience and Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related fieldMasters degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred4+ years of experience in a product ownership role, with a focus on e-commerce, user management, partner billing, or product catalogCertification in agile methodologies, such as CPO or CSPO, is preferredSkills and Qualifications:Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skillsStrong understanding of e-commerce architecture, including Shopping Cart and Checkout Process, Payment Gateway Integration, Product Catalog Management, Partner Billing, Order Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Analytics and Reporting, Security and Compliance, Marketing and PromotionsExperience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or KanbanExperience with Jira and RallyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExperience managing distributed teams and collaborating with both FTE and SIProven ability to model best practices and coach PO methods to team membersExperience with cloud-based e-commerce solutions preferredKnowledge of data engineering and integration tools preferred#LI-CH2Benefits:We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits.The base pay range shown is a guideline.
