We are seeking an experienced

Senior Windows Administrator

to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based servers and systems, ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of critical infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing server infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and supporting high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

What You'll Do:

Administer and maintain

Windows-based server infrastructure , handling installation, configuration, and patch management.Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to optimize reliability and efficiency.Provide

incident response support

for break/fix issues, service restoration, and service provisioning.Manage Windows-based systems, including

Windows 10

and

Windows Server 2012R2/2016R2 .Develop and execute patching and upgrade plans, ensuring the security and performance of all systems.Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guidelines.Implement

backup and restoration strategies

to support high availability and disaster recovery.Install, configure, and troubleshoot

local and wide area network applications , including software development tools and operating systems.Oversee the management and maintenance of

backup and restore platforms

Active Secret Clearance

(required due to contract).U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship, per contract requirements.7+ years of experience

in managing and supporting

Windows-based server infrastructure , including:Dell and HP Intel-based serversActive Directory ,

DNS ,

DHCP ,

DFS , and

Network Policy ServerWindows 10McAfee Antivirus

and

Symantec Endpoint ProtectionVeritas NetBackup

8.12 or similar platformsAbility to participate in a

rotational on-call schedule

to meet recall and support requirements for critical infrastructure.Location:

Candidates must reside near

Colorado Springs, CO , and be available for onsite work at the customer's discretion, including during transition periods.
