In the role of Business Analyst, your goal is to realize global procurement strategic priorities and value delivery, Client is building a world-class procurement function across our organization. The Analyst, Supply Chain Optimization, as a part of the clients Retail Procurement team, will help bring that vision to life. They will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Supply Chain Optimization (the Manager) in executing the clients Retail procurement strategy and assisting in deploying procurement best practices into the Retail business unit. This includes, but is not limited to, day-to-day engagement with Retail site leadership and team members to deliver sustainable procurement value in indirect spend and Fleet categories through the use of strategic spend management practices, data science and analytics, innovative stakeholder engagement and communication practices and tools, effective governance, templates, and technologies and best supplier management practices.
Key Deliverables:Strategy and PlanningSupport the Manager in executing Fleet and Procurement Operations strategy and deploying procurement best practices into the Retails business unit.Create and deliver sustainable procurement value in indirect spend categories through best-in-class strategic spend management, advanced spend analytics (PowerBI) and innovative stakeholder engagementCollaborate with the Manager to actively identify savings and efficiency opportunities, and play a pivotal role in executing and implementing these findingsFacilitate the management and execution of active projects within the Fleet and Operations Procurement Department, including but not limited to Ariba Implementation and Enhancements, Vendor Management, and in-depth analysis of Strategic Spend Categories.
Technical PerformanceDevelop, manage, and maintain metrics reporting for Fleet and Procurement Operations department, including but not limited to: Team Metrics (Operations, Fleet, Supply Chain Optimization), Realized savings, projected savings, project metrics, Indirect spend optimization, supplier intelligence, category research.Manage robust spend data sets and translate them into valuable insights to support category management, contract management, and Spend optimization strategyWork in collaboration with Supply Chain and Procurement groups to drive automation where possible and streamline reporting initiatives through innovation and process efficiency
Policy, Process and ProceduresAssist in the implementation of procurement tools (i. e. Ariba) and templates across Retail sites, including the tactical use of these tools to drive Retail adoptionWork with the Manager to identify Retail specific tools and templates needed from the Nutrien Procurement COE and procurement tool adoption
Customer FocusAct as an advocate for Retail site and Procurement interests, working to drive the best outcomes for NutrienMaintain communication with field operations to ensure FPO is providing sustainable, adoptable tools that create value for users.
