POSITION SUMMARY:

This position serves as the organizational prime contract requirements and policies and procedures administrator.Maintains recurring internal reports as directed.Identifies document management best practices, implements improvement strategies, and determines effectiveness.Coordinates document and forms control and review, maintains intranet documents library, and assists with development of new documents/forms and other materials.Policy, procedure, and desktop instruction development as it relates to use of the document control.Collaborate and support with other Hanford contractors on the Requirements Management System (RMS) administration.Prepare and import requirements and implementing mechanisms from various sources to the RMS environment following specific formatting guidelines.Train assigned individuals in utilizing the RMS tool to effectively manage their assigned requirements.Ensure requirement management is in alignment within the RMS database including locking documents down for change control, proposing changes, reviewing effectivity of proposed changes, exporting change notices, holding various reviews, approving, and incorporating approved changes in database.Creates PowerPoint presentations as assigned.Supports organizational mission, goals, and performance measures while accomplishing individually assigned goals.Adheres to and fosters acceptable health and safety practices.Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employeesRequirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the minimum educational credentials from an accredited school, college, or university and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.Minimum of 2 years experience in a professional setting.Demonstrated proficiency with computers and other office equipment.Knowledge and experience in current MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.Good analytical skills, writing skills, attention to detail, verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills.Ability to exercise good judgment and poise when dealing with public and co-workers.Capable of seeing and hearing adequately to perform essential functions.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret communications and documents.Strong verbal and written communication skills.DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires sitting or standing for long periods of time. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, and such other office equipment as necessary. Normal range of vision and hearing. It is necessary to create and view on computer screens for long periods and to work in an environment which can be very stressful.

Work Environment:

Work will involve frequent contact with other project employees and representatives. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others is constant and may be interruptive.

Salary Description

$65,000.
