Business Analyst InternLocation: Nashville, TNWho You'll Work With:The Technology team provides computing, communications, infrastructure, services, support, and innovations that sustain high-quality research and diverse investment services for institutional investors and private clients. The team also supports AB's employees. Technical roles in our New York City and Nashville locations have a high degree of interaction with our investment teams.The Operations team provides vital investment-management functions through more than two dozen offices located around the world. It's dedicated to institutional investment-management services, private client administration, fund services, brokerage operations and change agents.What You'll Do:The Business Analyst Summer Intern within our Technology & Operations business unit will be assigned to a variety of teams supporting institutional investors, research analysts, portfolio managers, client relationship managers, traders, wholesalers, and more. You will work closely with Sr. Business Analysts and Project Managers while learning key business processes, AllianceBernstein's products and services, and develop an understanding of the inner workings of how an investment management firm is powered by technology. Internship projects may include:Streamlining and simplifying the Equities Trading Order Management processApplying statistical and machine learning techniques to predict future sales and stock pricesRe-designing aspects of the Bernstein Research ReportDeveloping an automated tool to onboard new Hedge Funds more efficiently and accuratelySummer Interns contribute to and learn from AB's innovative use of technology, deep research capabilities, global presence, and breadth of investment management expertise. The flat corporate structure allows Interns to become deeply integrated into the team and contribute meaningfully to investment decision-making early on in their careers.What We're Looking For:December 2025 through May/June 2026 Bachelor's degree or MBA candidates in computer science, engineering, math, finance, economics, business, or liberal artsCumulative GPA of 3.3 or betterMust be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (must be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future)Candidates must be available to work full-time from June through AugustSelected candidates will need to successfully complete a thorough background checkIt is not permissible to simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that will conflict with the internship scheduleKeen interest in project management, particularly with the scoping of projects, capturing and documenting requirements, and defining use cases, user interfaces, and testing scenariosExperience with SQL and/or other programming languages is a plusExcellent communication and presentation skillsDetail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentWho We Are:We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
