Exciting Software Development opportunity in the Utility and Energy Billing space for an experienced

Information Technology Project Manager

to join our

Hansen Team

managing and coordinating through professional staff, specific customer projects involving the design, specification, configuration, and implementation of large complex projects, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, and on budget whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.

About You

You are a highly enthusiastic individual with proven experience and a demonstrated competency in roles relevant to large-scale software implementation projects or previous project management experience that may include but not limited to the following:You have Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience and bring a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Project Management with a strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile SDLC, Jira and working in a SaaS environment. Your PMP designation or PMI Certification is a definite asset.You are interested in or previously worked in the Energy & Utility market and bring experience and knowledge of software development, systems analysis, and project management techniques including supervisory experience and excellent verbal and written customer communication and customer management skills.You have the ability to take control of issues and manage them through a quick and sensible resolution and able to effectively work with software implementation, customer support, and sales groups.You like to travel (up to 20%) and prefer to lead by example; seek opportunities and take the initiative to pursue issue resolution or suggest ideas and improvements to convey a sense of teamwork, and being respectful of others.You are dependable person and who delivers a consistently good standard of work and diligently achieved results and who can 'own' a problem so that results are achieved.You are open to accepting views or recommendations of others to achieve successful results for the customer Hansen and help promote and display knowledge-sharing behaviors or seek to improve knowledge sharing.Key Responsibilities

Support and provide overall leadership on project implementations and act as the primary contact with the customer for all project related issues; direct technical and non-technical staff in simple to complex customer software implementation projects, ensuring that work is completed on time and according to customer specifications and standards.You ensure all available data is compiled to ensure a clear understanding of customer requirements and desired functionalities including scheduling projects while ensuring they are completed on budget, on time, and according to acceptable standards to ensure customer satisfaction.Utilizing Jira you assist our bug tracking, issue tracking and agile project management and ensure completed projects are properly documented and that their implementation satisfies the agreed upon project specifications and monitor project customization progress, reviewing test results and other indicators to identify and correct problem areas and if needed keeping management informed of project issues and risks.You will liaise with customers on contractual and technical matters and take responsibility for regular financial reporting and success of assigned projects including developing new business opportunities, maintain good relations with the existing customer base, and propose alternative customer solutions that will yield added revenue.You help provide pre-sales support on new account opportunities and contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, quality standards, and monitoring systems to track issues and compliance.
