Overview:

The Senior Implementation and Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of major software implementations and data integration initiatives across the Universitys enterprise systems, including Slate, PeopleSoft, and others. This individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless integration of enterprise systems to support the University's strategic goals. Additionally, there will be some ad-hoc production support of the Universitys enterprise systems.You must reside in one of the following states to work remotely:Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and Wisconsin .Responsibilities:Lead and manage the implementation of major software systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), and other critical applicationsIn collaboration with functional leadership, develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and communication strategies while ensuring alignment with University requirements.Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones.Design and implement data integration solutions between major enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security.Analyze existing data flows, identify integration points, and develop strategies to optimize data exchange.Troubleshoots and provides problem resolution for data errors on integrations, ensuring seamless data flow across systemsProvides technical assistance to Administrative Computing staff with production support of systems that have been implementedCreates and maintains technical documentation for systems and integrationsLead training sessions and workshops to educate users on new systems and processes.Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the Director of Administrative ComputingQualifications:Education:Minimal Qualifications:Associates degree in an IT related field or five (5) years of technical experience in application programmingKnowledge and technical proficiency in SQL scripting, interface programming languages, applications, tools and utilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in related field3 years of technical experience in application programming and development in Higher Education in Technolutions Slate3 years of technical experience in application programming and development in Higher Education in Oracle PeopleSoftStrong Proficiency in PeopleSoft Application Designer PeopleTools 8.58 or higherStrong Proficiency in Technolutions Slate DevelopmentExperience:Minimal Experience:Knowledge and technical proficiency in SQL, interface programming languages, applications, tools and utilities.Ability to create technical documentation and flowchartsEssential Skills:Essential Skills:Expertise in programming languages and frameworks, such as Java, C#, Python, PHP, PeopleCodeExpertise in database systems and tools, such as SQL, Oracle, or ETLExpertise in system integration methods and standards, such as SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, or APIExperience in PeopleSoft Application DesignerExperience in PeopleSoft SQR ProgrammingExperience in Technolutions Slate Development and supportStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to provide staff support for business and technical projects, assignments and analysisAbility to work independently on a day-to-day basisStrong customer service skillsAbility to interface with internal technical staff, client users and external vendorsExcellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex concepts into clear and concise termsNonessential SkillsMust possess a willingness to learn and develop new skillsMust possess the ability to work in teams and direct supervisionMust be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environmentDemonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusionPhysical Demands:The physical demands characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
