The Release Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the release process for software and infrastructure changes across various IT systems, including SaaS applications and cloud-native solutions. This role ensures a smooth transition of new or updated software from development environments to production, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency. The Release Manager will work closely with development teams, operations teams, and vendors to plan, execute, and monitor releases, ensuring adherence to established processes and best practices.A career with purpose.A career built on making dreams come true.A career built on building zero defect homes, cost management, and adherence to schedules.Your Responsibilities on the Team

Develop and maintain release plans, schedules, and timelines, coordinating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with project objectives.Coordinate with development, testing, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient execution.Manage release dependencies and dependencies between different projects.Oversee the deployment of software and infrastructure changes, ensuring adherence to defined procedures and standards.Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases, developing contingency plans as needed.Effectively communicate release plans, progress, and status updates to stakeholders, both internal and external.Collaborate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to review and approve changes.Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to release management, including release frequency, deployment success rates, and mean time to repair (MTTR).Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance release efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure compliance with ITIL and other relevant standards and processes.Serve as a central point of contact for release-related activities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.5+ years of experience in release management, with a strong understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies.Proven experience in managing complex software releases, including cloud-native deployments and SaaS applications.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and configuration management toolsExperience with release management tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).Knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and SaaS applications (e.g., JD Edwards, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle Hyperion).Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
