What You Will Do: + Play assigned game(s) to completion. + Document glitches, bugs, and inaccuracies in specified bug tracking database. + Execute pre-written test cases. + Rate and/or recommend games, game additions, or modifications. + Analyze test results, bugs, and usability and contribute to existing testing content documentation. + Prepare Test Plans, Test Cases based on client specifications, and prepare reports. + Serve as a technical lead contributing to test team. + Assist in test environment setup and teardown. + Assist in coaching junior staff by helping them to make decisions and solve problems. + Serve as the main point of contact for the client and will work with the client to prioritize testing requirements. + Be responsible for informally leading a test team on a variety of projects. + Document the basic user level manual, systems manual. + Provide feedback on progress and professional growth to team members as well as management. + Continuous striving for improvement in personal knowledge of testing practices and relevant hardware To Be Successful You Will Have: + 2+ years of experience in game testing. + Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced environment. + Good interpersonal skills, creativity, efficiency, attention to detail, and good work organization. + Strong academic or practical knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, software testing standards, strategies, and the software development cycle. + Adept with writing detailed concise bug reports. + Proven experience executing test cases; drafting and managing test cases for one or more features. + Experience with industry standard test software such as JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, or equivalents. + Experience running build files with software suites such as Visual Studio. + Practiced and analytical problem-solving approach. + Preferred higher education in technology.
