As a Blue Yonder EDI Business Analyst on Echo's Integration Team, you will act as an intermediary between the business community, technical community, and Echo's clients and carriers to elicit, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which solutions are developed and delivered. This role will perform business analysis techniques in working with these partners to understand the business processes and needs that enable EDI/API integration projects to be successful and goals to be met. EDI Business Analyst will also assist in test validation and the rolling out of enhancements and bug fixes.Position Duties & ResponsibilitiesFacilitate meetings with all stakeholders to elicit, define, and refine integration requirementsAnalyze, develop, and manage detailed requirements documentationManage EDI/API projects through testing, validation, and implementationDevelop life cycle documents, including detailed functional requirements, software (data translation) and other design specifications, and user manuals.Provide test cases to the developersVerify and validate complete end-to-end testing with the business and client/carrierWork with the developers to verify project completion for supportabilityUtilize strong written and oral communication skills to regularly update stakeholders on project status, e.g. project phase, issues/roadblocks, go-live dates, etc.Required Skills & Qualifications3+ years of relevant experience in a Business or Technical Analyst roleExperience with Blue Yonder Supply Chain Platform3+ years experience with EDI ANSI X12 Standards (specifically 204, 214, 210, 990)3+ years experience in the transportation/logistics/supply chain fieldExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-managed and motivated; organized and detail-orientedAbility to create process flow documentationAbility to follow through with tasks to their completionExperience in the transportation/logistics/supply chain fieldSQL query experienceProficient with MS Word, Excel (charts, reports, data analysis, and flowcharting)Successfully work collaboratively and with minimal supervisionProject management, time management, and problem-solving skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be able to translate business requirements and design concepts into intuitive designs and solutionsCompetent to work with minimal supervision in a technical capacity on most phases of assigned projectsAbility to recognize complex problems and apply creativity to analyze solutions, develop solutions and proceduresPreferred Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Software Development Life CycleKnowledge of APIs, JSON, and XML data formatsDemonstrated ability to learn new technology quicklyExperience of ServiceNow Incident and Change management in an ITIL environmentProficient with MS Word, Excel (charts, reports, data analysis, and flowcharting)Management Information Systems or IT related degreeWhat's in it for you?Help career growth by joining an industry leader and continuing to advance Echo proprietary technologiesWorking for an organization with intelligently defined strategic goals, sophisticated products, and steady growthExperienced mentors to learn and adopt new practicesAbility to introduce your own views and takes on our product offeringsWork in the full software delivery life cycleAbility to constantly enhance and improve applications and processesHave a clearly defined career growth track with enough flexibility to pave your own wayEcho Global Logistics is a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation management services.
