Administrative Assistant - Construction

This position pays $40,000 to $50,000 annually, based on qualifications. The Administrative Assistant of Construction will work and coordinate with the project managers to help facilitate the construction process from start to finish. Responsibilities include overseeing all administrative tasks in the construction department, approving weekly timesheets for staff, maintaining tool and material inventory for the warehouse and construction department. This position serves as the construction team's primary contact for coordinating and organizing training for new systems and processes, including all updates.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

Coordinates and plans all administrative functions within the construction department; gathers, compiles and approves all timesheets for employees within the construction department; provides support in the delivery of projects to meet tenants' expectations.Regularly runs financial reports for projects and creates agendas and slides for internal construction meetings.Manages all construction files and the tool and material inventory for the warehouse; orders new or replacement tools as needed.Serves as primary contact and coordinator for construction software training for all construction staff, to include project managers.Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.Performs other related work as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAININGHigh school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working in construction administration and software is preferred. Minimum of 2 years education, training, or experience in Microsoft Office, or any combination of experience and education needed to successfully perform the job.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS REQUIRED

Physical Requirements:
