Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Scrum Master:Facilitate iteration (sprint) planning, lead work within individual sprints, and coordinate retrospectives and demosAssist key business users (product owners) with backlog creation and prioritizationEnsure cross-functional team coordination (GUI designers, analysts, developers, and testers)Lead daily sprint stand-ups and resolve conflictMaintain and publish Agile metrics (e.g. velocity and burn-down)This is a 6+ month contract position
Required Skills for Scrum Master:
4+ years of experience in a similar roleAbility to guide team through transition to scrumHigh level of familiarity with JiraProven ability to coach team effectively to plan work and deliver to business partners2+ years of Scrum Master experienceCertified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
