We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MDM Data Modeler to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This remote role requires a hands-on professional who can lead the implementation and management of our Master Data Management (MDM) program, ensuring data quality, governance, and effective digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

MDM Program Development and Management:

Lead the design, development, and management of the MDM program.Build and manage product hierarchies, ensuring accurate and efficient data organization.Implement best practices for MDM to ensure data consistency and reliability.

Data Governance:

Develop and implement data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity.Establish data quality and data cleansing processes, including rule identification, development, tracking, and reporting.Ensure ongoing governance of the MDM system to maintain high data standards.

Digital Transformation:

Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging MDM to enhance business processes.Manage sizable digital transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Project Management:

Break down complex projects into discrete tasks with clear timelines.Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.Apply project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and resources.

Data Profiling and Remediation:

Conduct data profiling to understand data characteristics and quality.Direct and coach team members in data profiling techniques.Develop and implement remediation approaches for identified data issues.

High-Level Architecture and Systems Integration:

Design and oversee the overall data flow architecture.Ensure seamless integration of systems such as xDM (Semarchy), SAP, and EDP.Apply an enterprise perspective to data management, leveraging data warehouse skills.

Hands-On Implementation:

Actively participate in the hands-on implementation of MDM solutions.Provide practical solutions and avoid purely theoretical approaches.Ensure successful deployment and operation of MDM systems.Qualifications:

Proven experience in building and managing MDM programs.Strong background in data governance, data quality, and data cleansing.Demonstrated success in leading digital transformation projects.Excellent project management skills with the ability to break down work into manageable tasks.Deep expertise in data profiling and remediation.High-level architectural skills with experience in systems integration.Hands-on approach to implementation and problem-solving.Additional Information:

This is a remote, short-term contract position.The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong technical background and a practical approach to MDM implementation.
