Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with 6-10 years of experience in Java EE platforms and Spring Framework, to join our team at Client.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Java-based applications and interfaces.
Responsibilities:
Develop user-centric solutions by writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
Ensure software designs comply with specifications.
Produce software releases and maintain existing components.
Continuously improve application architecture by investigating and implementing new technologies.
Provide technical support and documentation to users.
Coordinate with teams to gather requirements, manage project schedules, and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot problems in development and production across multiple environments.
Support software development methodologies, particularly Agile, and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
6-10 years' experience in Java/JEE software development within the Spring Framework environment.
Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design using common design patterns.
Experience with web frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, GWT, or Spring MVC.
Strong knowledge of Multithreading, Performance Optimization, and Memory/Object Reuse.
Hands-on experience with Linux Systems, Cloud Foundry, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker, and Containers.
Familiarity with DNS, NAS, Networking, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
Experience in process improvement, scalability, and automation.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and other engineers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with Atlassian tools (BitBucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence).
Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
Experience with MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Blue-Green Deployments.
Desired Skills:
Experience in designing solutions for complex enterprise-wide projects.
Knowledge of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Groovy, Perl, and BASH.
Education:
Bachelors Degree
