Required:•Availability to work occasionally at offices at the Client's site in
Tallahassee, FL
(required);•Combined IT and security work experience with system analysis and a broad range of exposure to security infrastructure.(4+ years)•Experience with firewall policies, implementation best practices.(4+ years)•Experience with cloud computing and cloud computing security (2+ years)•Experience in NIST cybersecurity Framework;•Experience with MITRE framework;•CJIS certified or can become CJIS certified.
Preferred:•Experience with vulnerability management and security tool evaluation.•Experience with security incident response and risk mitigation.•Experience with documentation for creating technical security reports and after-action reviews.•CISSP, Security+, OSCP, CISA certifications
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:•Establish and maintain security best practices aligned with organizational goals.•Assist in creating and implementing security policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.•Conduct security risk assessments and produce reports to support decision-making.•Identify, monitor, and address software and hardware vulnerabilities.•Act as a primary responder for security incidents, following established protocols to resolve issues.•Evaluate existing and potential security tools and systems, recommending improvements or new solutions.•Train and inform IT staff and program areas on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
