BPCS Business Analyst

This role is responsible for defining systems scope, objectives, and functionality based on the needs of the end users and a strong understanding of business processes. The role writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Production support includes business process tickets and various user security-related tickets, including onboarding, offboarding, permissions change, and password resets.Job Duties:Must work to attain the highest level of competence within the department.Analyze organization business processes and systems (financial, manufacturing, procure to pay, etc.) and automate/optimize processes within BPCSRespond to support tickets requesting error fixes or enhancementsFamiliar with the complexity of communications and database systems when designing and changing systems that affect these critical components.Act as the liaison between the end users and development teams to ensure business needs are translated accurately into development tasks and end results meet user requirements.Operates primarily in close partnership with client departments to develop a deep understanding of business processes and to meet their objectives in developing cost, quality and service improvements.Train end users on system functionalityPerform administrative and other duties as assignedRequirements:BS or BA degree required.At least 1 year experience in an IT Support Role desiredMicrosoft Office package experience desired (word, excel, power point)Ticket System knowledge as ServiceNow/OTRS welcomeAt least 1 year of Infor BPCS (Business Planning and Control Systems) experience required.Travel Requirement:Up to 10% Domestically and on occasion International as neededEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
