Job Summary:

Client is supporting a Fortune 200 company in Cleveland, Ohio, with an Oracle Developer position. The Oracle Developer will be responsible for the requirement gathering, documentation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a financial web application for a credit/customer-centric project, focusing on Oracle database development, batch process development, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

•Gather requirements and document specifications for the financial web application.

•Design, develop, and implement Oracle database applications.

•Maintain and optimize batch processes and reporting functionalities.

•Work in a UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environment to develop OLTP database applications.

•Utilize JIRA, GitHub, and ControlM for project management and version control.

•Develop and performance-tune applications using Oracle Exadata.

•Write PL/SQL Types, Collections, Functions, Procedures, and XML Packages.

•Create Materialized Views, Triggers, and complex SQL queries and reports.

•Optimize applications using Exadata Oracle performance tuning techniques.

•Develop unit testing methods for PL/SQL and UNIX scripts for batch processing.

•Work with Oracle RAC clusters and Exadata systems.

•Collaborate with teams to support accounts receivable systems.

Required Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.

•3+ years of IT experience.

•3+ years of experience developing OLTP database applications in Oracle 11g.

•Hands-on experience in UNIX/LINUX/Solaris environments within a multi-tier environment.

•Experience with JIRA, GitHub, ControlM, and Microservices/Bhoomi Services.

•3+ years of experience in development and performance tuning using Oracle Exadata.

•Proficiency in PL/SQL Types, PL/SQL Collections, SQL Loader, and XML.

•Knowledge of accounts receivable systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience with advanced Oracle features and optimizations.

•Familiarity with additional database management systems.

•Understanding of software development methodologies.

Certifications:

•Relevant Oracle certifications are a plus.
