Job Description:
Project Leadership:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of data modernization projects.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business goals.
Data Architecture and Management:
Develop and maintain scalable data architectures.Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team.Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and finance.Continuously evaluate and improve data processes and systems.
Skill Set Required:
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in data engineering technologies such as SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data platforms.Strong understanding of financial data systems and leveraged finance.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.Proficiency in data modeling and database design.
Leadership and Management:
Experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate with various teams and departments.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer, or similar are highly desirable.
Experience:
Typically, 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on financial data systems and modernization
