Main Responsibilities of Cost Accountant
- Assist with month end close activities
- Analyze the cost of production, labor, materials, and overhead.
- Report on cost information to help management make informed decisions.
- Cost valuation of products in inventory for accuracy
- Assist with conducting year-end inventory
Qualifications of Cost Accountant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- At least 2 years of current or prior cost accounting experience
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work well on a team and independently
