Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the financial operations of our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate financial records and perform financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Record financial transactions: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for recording and reconciling financial transactions in the company's accounting system. This includes entering and coding invoices, processing payments, and reconciling bank statements.

• Assist with month-end close: The Staff Accountant will assist with the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.

• Maintain accurate financial records: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly documented.

• Perform financial analysis: The Staff Accountant will assist with financial analysis, including analyzing financial statements, preparing financial reports, and forecasting future financial performance.

• Assist with audits: The Staff Accountant will assist with the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during audits.

• Provide support to other departments: The Staff Accountant will work closely with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, but not required

• 2+ years of accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $70,000
