Our client, a leading private equity firm with an office in Midtown East, needs a long-term temp Administrative Assistant to help support their Industrial Growth group. This person will be helping the three EAs in the group. This role starts ASAP, with an estimated temp contract through year end. This role is hybrid - onsite Monday-Thursday, remote on Fridays (this person will have a firm-issued laptop to use at home). The hours are 9am-5pm (30-minute lunch break) with limited OT (only for urgent matters after hours, which will be infrequent). Hourly pay rate is $28-36/hr DOE,

Responsibilities:

  • Helping with scheduling/ looking across calendars to see if there are conflicts. Updating calendars.
  • Booking/ updating travel - booking hotels, working the firm's travel agent to get flights booked. Making/ updating car reservations (working with the firm's car company).
  • Helping with conference rooms - setting up conference rooms for meetings, or if there's a conflict with a conference room helping to clear that up.
  • Reconciling expenses.
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of corporate administrative experience required.
  • Some financial services industry experience is required.
  • Need to have a send of urgency, quick response times, very strong communication. Experience managing competing priorities.
  • Degree required.
