Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,329 per week

Certification Details Required Certs to be attached upon submittal: Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Job Details Registered Nurse, ICU Neuro Cardiac ICU - Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request) Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class) Patient Population: General medical ICU patients – general cardiac/neuro, respiratory failure, vascular post -surgical, renal failure, sepsis. Job Requirements Minimum Experience REQUIRED: 3 years as RN, 1 full year of ICU/Medical ICU/Neuro ICU experience, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Skillset REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), ETT/vent management (RT available), Initiate/titrate (sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive, insulin, etc.), sepsis protocols/care, post ROSC therapeutic hypothermia protocol. PREFERRED: CRRT, tPa administration/assessments, massive transfusion (Belmont). Schedule Information Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7 Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday. Unit Specific Information Unit Information: 28 beds. Ratio: Days 1:2-3; NOCs 1:2-3; CN rarely takes patients. Unit Strengths: Excellent teamwork and helpful charge nurses.
