Overview The Golf Software Product Manager (Product Owner) will execute and help set priorities in software products for the Golf Strategic Business Unit (SBU), focused on our industry-leading operation software, CirrusPRO. This opportunity is to learn and drive a product that optimizes irrigation in golf course applications using Rain Birds platform data and 3rd party partners. This role helps provide the worlds finest courses with tools that enable consistent, high-quality play through the Intelligent use of Water. You will use your experience in Agile enterprise software development to generate profitable growth by ensuring that all team members understand what needs to be built, and why. You will lead the execution of product line strategies, including those related to new product and feature development, life-cycle management, product quality and positioning through our product development cycle. Responsibilities Ensure that features and feature release strategies are well defined through managing the backlog and ensuring that priorities to support growth plans are communicated across the tea. Consult with architects, UI experts, tech-leads, and QA leads to ensure that the best design and implementation options are presented for selection. Collaborate with the product manager, scrum master, project manager to ensure highest priory items are completed without delays and release strategies are upheld. Improve customer satisfaction by leading quality improvement projects. Partner with Global Tech Support to catalog and prioritize field feedback and prioritize action based on frequency and impact. Drive constant improvement with the scrum master and team of Agile practitioners to ensure that ceremonies have positive impact on future development. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, computer, data science or related technology. 3-7 years of experience in a software team as a product owner, scrum master or related role. 3 years of demonstrated expertise in Agile environments developing enterprise B2B software. Can demonstrate an analytical, data-driven approach to drive decisions and projects. Innate passion to innovate and delivering value to customers through technology. Use of common business and collaboration tools to advocate for market driven priorities. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience utilizing the SAFe framework and/or certification as a scrum master or agile coach. Comfort with challenging the status quo and driving change in mature organizations. Experience refining or deconstructing features using the Atlassian suite of software development tools. Master's degree or graduate level courses taken in business, marketing or technology fields. Experience in the golf market, irrigation, or adjacent industries.
