Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,220 per week

Certification Details BLS & ACLS (Must be through AHA). NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). AWHONN-Advanced. Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced L/D nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN and CA License. Job Requirements 2 full years of experience in L/D. Active BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN certifications. Hold an active CA License. Schedule Information 12 hours shifts; 7a - 7p / 7p - 7a. 1/2 hour break (clock-out); 3 - 15 min breaks per shift (CA Law). Weekends: Usually every other weekend (same as perm staff). Unit Specific Information No nurse aides, but have OB techs that help with C-sections & assist as needed with baby cares. Charge Nurse: Around the clock, does not take patients. Breaks: 1/2 hour break (clock-out); 3 - 15 min breaks per shift (CA Law). Unit Orientation: 2 shifts on the unit, will also meet with the educator. Doc System: CERNER REQUIRED. Add'l equipment: Pagers linked to call light system & internal spectralink phones. Tele: Post-surgery only for the hour post-surgery C-section. RT 24/7: Yes. Pharmacy 24/7: Yes. No floating required as it is a Closed Unit; Nights, EOW, first to float. Additional Details NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS. CERNER IS REQUIRED
