About The Role

The IT Analyst position supports the Caterpillar IT Function with assisting in areas like development, testing and implementing application systems across the enterprise. The IT Analyst position requires proficiency in core application systems, problem solving, application design/architecture, implementation, system and technology integration and system testing. You will work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that span various applications. The IT Analyst adds value to the enterprise through its support of both internal and external/partner systems and applications.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities of the IT Analyst position include but are not limited to:

Participates in IT functions like developing, coding, and testing computer programsAssisting in preparing technical and procedural documentation.Assisting with detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for simple application programs.Participating in contributing solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a technical-related degree from a four-year accredited college/universityGraduation Date between December 2024 and August 2025Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 on 4.0 scale (without rounding)Previous technical internship or work experience outside of classroom setting
