Certification Details Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC required. Job Details Position / Specialty: ED RN Shift: 3x12 Nights (1900-0730) Average Daily Census: 120. 32 Bed ED. 1:4 ratios for all shifts. Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years experience required. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend REQ: We work every other weekend, but typically our agency colleagues work fewer than that due to the every weekend option for FT colleagues. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. Job Requirements Required Work Setting Experience: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Level II Trauma Center. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration. Required Neurological Case Skills/Experience: CVA, ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic brain injury. Required Orthopedic Case Skills/Experience: Ortho-trauma. Required Pediatric Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal Pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis, Head Injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse, Infections, Mental/behavioral health concerns, Near drowning, Poison ingestion, Respiratory infections, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Spinal cord injury, Urinary tract infections. Required Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: Acute psychosis, Drug overdose, Managing violent behavior, Psychiatric Hold, Suicidal Patient. Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tube insertion/management, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Intubation, Ventilated patients. Required Shock/Trauma Case Skills/Experience: Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Triage. Required Additional Skills/Experience: Tele Interpretations, Ventilators. Cerner experience preferred. Previous charge experience preferred.
