Certification Details Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH State License verification required within 30 days prior to start date for CRTs & RRTs: Must be licensed by the State of Georgia ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: Required for RN's/RRT's/CRT's in specific specialties, expiring certs not accepted BLS - Basic Life Support: Required, expiring certs not accepted PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: Required for RN's in specific specialties, expiring certs not accepted NIH Stroke Certification: Please reference UD to determine requirements Job Details Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses. Primary floating required is ICU Float but could float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract) Floating: Required Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
