IL license2 years' experienceMust have common MICU experience with respiratory, some cardiacMust be able to titrate drips, manage vents, lead codesBLS, ACLSHighly prefer previous travel experienceOther Details:
Charting System- Cerner Corporation - Millennium
Can float to medsurg/tele. Helping hands in psych, ER or L&D. Unless you have a background on another unit. Traveler can opt to work another unit if experienced.
Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Common MICU patients, Afib RVR, STEMI, temporary pacers, Sepsis, multiorgan failure, DKA, ETOH, Withdrawal, Severe anemia, EKOS, Covid, Post surgical- recover in ICU, all bipaps are placed in ICU even if they are lower acuity.Epic Travel Staffing:
