Job Title: Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Endoscopy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Valid RN license required Certifications: Valid Allied license required Must-Have: Conscious sedation experience and anesthesia experience Job Description: - The Registered Nurse will float between units as needed. - On-call shifts are required and may include filling in for open call shifts if appropriate. - Weekend shifts are required and may also include filling in for open call shifts. - Block schedules are not required for this position. - Expected ratios are procedures 1:1. - Experience in general GI EGD/Colonoscopy is necessary. - Preferably seeking candidates with Interventional GI experience and pulmonary procedures, such as EUS, ERCP, Stents, bronch, and ebus, rebus. - The facility is a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. - The hospital uses Epic for charting. - COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions allowed. - Pre-start modules are self-reported and average 16 hours, non-billable, with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts. - A 40-hour non-billable orientation will be provided.
