The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit. Unit Details:43-bed/Med Surg unit with a concentration on post-general surgery patients. We do get medical overflow as well.
