POSITION SUMMARY
The Image Retoucher will be responsible for enhancing the product, lifestyle, and promotional photography for RealTruck's print and web applications. This role will involve operating digital manipulation platforms to achieve high standards of creativity, consistency, accuracy, and quality in image creation. This role will collaborate closely with the Post-Production Supervisor, Creative Stakeholders, and the Director of Media to address project needs and ensure timely completion.
CORE FUNCTIONSPerform various photo edits on vehicle and vehicle accessory images shot both in studio and on location. This will include importing RAW photos, assigning keywords and other metadata in accordance with established standards, performing color and tonal edits and composites, applying creative edits, making animated GIFS, and removing blemishes and reflections.Collaborate with Producers and the design team throughout the creative process to ensure flawless execution of final output.Work directly with Photographers to capture the shot needed for an optimized image.Work closely with Post-Production Supervisor and Director of Media to support studio and location photography in adhering to processes and procedures withing the Creative and Marketing teams.Maintain an understanding and awareness of brand style guidelines; notify stakeholders if deliverables deviate from current brand standards.Work closely with Post-Production Supervisor and Media Publishing in exercising best practices in asset management, server organization, and version control.Work closely with Post-Production Supervisor to prioritize projects to maintain deadlines and quality control within the retouching team.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High school diploma is required. Associates degree or more advanced degree preferred.5+ years of experience is required.Experience with automotive retouching is required.Adept knowledge and expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Photoshop and Lightroom, is required.Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Expert-level photo retouching skills (image manipulation, compositing, etc.) within the Adobe Creative Suite.Deep understanding of file formats and asset preparation across disciplines.Basic Microsoft Office skill-set (Word, Excel).Ability to effectively use project management software.Excellent eye for color; ability to color correct and match to maintain brand look.Meticulous attention to detail.Proven technical acumen and industry curiosity.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of photo retouching principles, practices, and trends.Travel
