Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Wound Care Clinic
Location: Georgetown, DE

At United Wound Care Centers, we are dedicated to provide exceptional wound care to our patients. Our multidisciplinary team works together to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care, fostering healing and recovery in a supportive environment. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in wound care, with a focus on providing comprehensive, evidence-based treatment to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: - Provide specialized wound care treatment, including debridement, dressing changes, Skin Substitutes, and infection management. - Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement the best treatment strategies. - Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and preventive measures. - Monitor healing progress, adjust care plans as necessary, and ensure timely follow-up visits. - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinical protocols and safety standards. - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. - Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in wound care and implement best practices in the clinic.
Qualifications: - Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware . - Certification in wound care is preferred (WCC, CWCN, or CWS) or willingness to obtain certification. - Experience in wound care, dermatology, geriatrics, or related fields is a plus. - Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
